At HorseGrooms, we love collaborating with organizations that share our values of horsemanship, curiosity, and genuine care for horses and the people who work with them. Our new partnership with Stübben reflects that beautifully.
Founded in 1894, Stübben has been making saddles for more than 120 years. The company has grown into a global name known for high-quality saddles, bridles, bits, girths, spurs, and grooming supplies. Their approach blends traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation and sustainable materials. Riders across disciplines value Stübben products for their balance, durability, and thoughtful design that supports both horse and rider.
Education and Horse Welfare
One of the things we appreciate most about Stübben is their dedication to education and horse welfare. Their team believes that when people better understand the horse, they make better decisions for its comfort and long-term wellbeing. This aligns closely with the mission of HorseGrooms. Grooms often notice the small signs first. They feel when something is off. And they understand how essential proper equipment fit is to a horse’s comfort, movement, and soundness.

Three HorseGrooms MeetUps supported by Stübben in Wellington, FL
This winter, Stübben is supporting three HorseGrooms MeetUps in Wellington. The first one is only a little over two weeks away, and our community could not be more excited.
During our conversations with the Stübben team, their respect for grooms was clear. Brett Ehrmann, Chief of Operations for Stübben North America, shared that Stübben sees grooms as essential to the wellbeing of sport horses.
“We believe that grooms are the backbone of our industry,” Brett explained. “They do incredibly demanding work, often behind the scenes, and they deserve the best support we can offer. Our entire philosophy at Stübben is built around putting the horse first. Through this partnership, we have an opportunity to share meaningful education that truly benefits both grooms and horses.”
Brett’s passion for education runs deep. He believes strongly in giving grooms accessible, practical tools they can use in their daily work. “Providing grooms with real, practical education grounded in what is best for the horse is essential,” he added. “If we can support them in their development and help them reach the next level in their careers, everyone benefits. The horse, the groom, the rider. Our whole industry works better when we invest in the people who care for the horses every day.”

Comfort for Horse and Rider
This partnership also holds a special connection to HorseGrooms through its founder, Dinette Neuteboom, whose own background reflects a long familiarity with the brand.
“I grew up riding in Stübben saddles in the Netherlands because they were simply among the best available,” Dinette shared. “What inspires me today is that Stübben continues to refine their saddles for both horse and rider, without ever compromising the comfort, freedom, or wellbeing of the horse. Their dedication to education and horse welfare aligns completely with the mission of HorseGrooms. We are grateful and excited to work with a partner that helps us bring meaningful knowledge to the grooms and equestrians who want to do right by their horses.”
This winter’s MeetUps will offer practical insights, hands-on learning, and space for meaningful conversation with true experts. We hope you will join us, ask questions, and learn alongside us.
