Meet Our Mentors:
Jiliann Miller (1998)
Jiliann has been a professional dressage groom for seven years, with this winter marking her sixth season in Wellington, FL. She currently works for Canadian dressage rider Alexandra Reid-Naranjo and is based year-round in Florida. Jiliann loves building relationships with each horse, learning about them inside and out. She’s excited to be a HorseGrooms Mentor. “The HorseGrooms platform is a fantastic resource for anyone in the equine industry to keep learning,” said Jiliann.
Natt Campbell (1991)
Natt is the manager and show groom for British dressage rider Andrew Gould. She has experience at top international competitions, including the Paris Olympics in 2024. Natt combines a degree in equine sports science with hands-on horsemanship learned from her early days working at a local riding school. Passionate about education, Natt creates grooming videos and values daily turnout, simple feeding, and “old-school” care. Natt is thrilled to join HorseGrooms as a Mentor. “It’s really important to share what we know—especially with the young people, the ones that are coming up,” she said. “My hope is that by sharing on HorseGrooms, we can inspire future grooms and empower them to educate themselves.”
Miranda van Kol (1969)
Originally from the Netherlands, Miranda has lived and worked as a groom and barn manager around the world. She has groomed at multiple championships across disciplines, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games. For the past 25 years Miranda has worked in and out of the U.S.A. Miranda knows everyone—from owners and sponsors to riders and grooms. She’s typically Dutch—direct and straightforward—and believes in passing on her knowledge to younger grooms, just as she learned from older mentors. “You can learn from everyone,” she said.
Bella Nye (1999)
Bella began her grooming career at a young age, following her trainer’s suggestion to become a professional groom. She graduated from Centenary University in 2022 with a degree in equine science and has since traveled extensively, grooming for top-ranked combined driving and dressage trainers. She’s also a regular contributor to HorseGrooms, sharing her expert grooming routines. “I love to be able to help guide grooms 😊,” said Bella.
