After a pause while HorseGrooms focused on growing its educational platform and global community, The HorseGrooms Podcast is back.
Starting August 1, 2026, HorseGrooms will once again bring listeners practical conversations about horse care, horsemanship, and the people behind the horses.
Horse Care and Horsemanship
Hosted by HorseGrooms founder Dinette Neuteboom, the podcast is rooted in the grooming community and created for everyone who is passionate about excellent horse care and horsemanship. Professional grooms remain at the heart of every episode, while veterinarians, farriers, nutritionists, riders, trainers, researchers, barn managers, and other equestrian professionals will join the conversation to share the knowledge, experiences, and ideas that help horses thrive and strengthen the people who care for them.
“We’ve always wanted the podcast to become another educational platform for HorseGrooms,” says Neuteboom. “Over the past two years we’ve been busy building the community, expanding our educational content, organizing MeetUps, launching webinars, and growing HorseGrooms. Bringing the podcast back felt like the natural next step. It gives us the opportunity to have longer conversations, explore important topics in more depth, and learn directly from some of the best horse people in our industry.”
What Listeners Can Expect
The HorseGrooms Podcast will feature practical, educational, and honest conversations about topics including:
- Horse care and stable management
- Groom life and career development
- Horsemanship
- Traveling with horses
- Horse welfare
- Mental health in the equestrian industry
- Leadership and teamwork
- Products, research, innovation, and technology
- Entrepreneurship and life after grooming
- Honest conversations about improving the industry
Some episodes will celebrate the incredible work professional grooms do every day. Others will tackle difficult topics or explore new ideas that can help create healthier horses, stronger teams, and more sustainable careers.
While You’re Mucking Out
We’ll aim to keep most episodes about the time it takes to muck out a few stalls, do the waters, and sweep the aisle. Long enough to dive into a topic, but short enough that you’ll probably finish the episode before it’s time to take out your earbud, tack up the first horse, or catch up with your rider.
Of course, sometimes we won’t be able to stop asking questions and an episode might run a little longer. If that’s the case, you may have to finish listening while hand grazing a horse, cleaning tack, or doing another job that leaves one ear, free. (Just promise us you’ll only wear only one earbud so you can stay aware of what’s happening around you and around your horse.)
Insiders Q&A
And if we still have more to talk about than we can fit into one podcast episode, we’ll invite our guests to continue the conversation with a live Q&A inside HorseGrooms Insiders, our online community where horse care professionals from around the world come together to learn from industry experts, ask questions, share experiences, and continue the conversation. As a bonus, you’ll get to see our guests on camera too.
