Before much of the horse community disperses to their corners of the world outside of Wellington, Florida, join us for the HorseGrooms Live Event II, powered by EnviroEquine & PET at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26.
Come join us in Loxahatchee, Florida (very close to Wellington!) to hear from our incredible lineup of grooms and (equine) specialists. Much like our prior event, we will have “stations” where each clinician demonstrates or talks about their area of expertise.
PLUS: This event is free access to all grooms – with pizza and drinks, sponsored by Dandy Products, @Buckets_to_brushes, and Equine Tack & Nutritionals.
The Line Up
Jessica Springsteen’s top groom, Josie Eliasson (who, fun fact, is also the founder of Yehaww), and Laura Kraut’s top groom, Margo Thomas, will share their grooming experiences and tips.
Michele Hollis, MD will talk about what needs to be in your wall box to take proper care of yourself. Get a head start and read this article about that.
Angela Brackett of EnviroEquine & PET will show and talk about the ingredients in horse treats, the importance of Omega-3 and the right amount of Vitamin E in a horse’s diet. (PLUS: Use our discount code HorseGroomsEE for 10% off their amazing care products and supplements!)
Kimberly Maloomian, author of “The HorseGrooms’ Guide to Nutrition,” will talk about how to prepare an easy but healthy and filling breakfast when you are on the road – like yummy avocado toast, peanut butter and banana rollups, and overnight oats.
Vet tech Laura Elser (you know her from her HorseGrooms series “Don’t Piss Off Your Vet“) will focus on equine emergencies, what they look like and what to do.
The author of the “HorseGrooms’ Guide to Finance” and the book Mega Wealth, Emmy Sobieski, will also share her expertise with all attendees. She will discuss the topics of her most-read financial articles on horsegrooms.com, but there will also be time for questions. So, ask away about bank accounts, credit cards, contracts, credit history, investing, IRAs or starting your own business because Emmy is there to help.
Danielle Burgess of Instagrooms will be at the event as well. Instagrooms is an online platform for freelance equestrian services. So if you would like to start freelancing or you are looking for more freelance gigs, Instagrooms is a good company to get acquainted with.
And last but not least, Myofascial Equine Therapist Mark te Kiefte will teach the attendees what palpating a horse can tell you.
